We got to say the sacred blue eyed eels in Huahine Island in the French Polynesia! These eels only live in one canal on the island. There are many legends of why their eyes are only blue in this one small bit of water. Our guide put on a glove and tossed in canned tuna then a bunch of these giant blue eyed eels started to come out to feed! I have never seen so many large eels at one time.
