Leave the stem and leaves. ☀️ Plant your amaryllis bulb in standard potting soil (make sure that container has drainage!) and care for it as you would any other houseplant. Place it in a sunny window and water it and fertilize it regularly through spring and summer. 💧 In mid-August, stop all watering and fertilizing; this signals the plant it's time to go dormant.
