A volcano in Ethiopia has erupted for the first time in 12,000 years. Hayli Gubbi is a long-dormant volcano in the Afar region, but on Sunday an eruption sent large ash plumes into the sky and caused tremors in the area. A day before the eruption, a Channel 4 News team was at the nearby Erta Ale volcano, which is only nine miles away from Hayli Gubbi.
