Today we had our horse veterinary dentist come to the Sanctuary. Horses are just like us humans: they need to have their teeth looked at and taken care of as well. Sometimes we get horses in that have never had any work done on their teeth. They have ulcers in their gums and are very thin because they can’t chew properly. That affects their digestion.
