my therapist said it’s something like delayed emotional processing. all the things you went through start catching up to you when you’re older and you’re brain’s finally trying to make sense of it. she said it’s common for people like me who suffers from cptsd. it makes sense. but it still hurts. it still feels unfair that i’m only starting to feel everything now, that i’m this old and still struggling to keep myself together #vent #mentalhealthmatters #cptsd
