Halo 3 rounded off the games in the best way. Halo reach was an epic story of an inevitable doom. Halo 4 showed lots of character development even if chief was whiney. ODST was a did a good job of chopping up separate stories to all come together. They all add their bits to the saga. Except H5 and Infinite.

May 28, 2019 · Halo: CE - This game's campaign makes it my favorite FPS game of all time and one of my top 3 games ever. Assault on the Control Room and Two Betrayals are my absolute favorite levels in the Halo series. Also the only game where fighting the flood is enjoyable. Halo CE does everything right from level design and combat to story and atmosphere.

Saving the world against an alien force is the most common trope of all in futuristic shooters, but somehow Halo 3 was able to humanize this in a way where the story felt deeply personal and grounded.
