York Racecourse had a special royal visitor when Queen Camilla made an appearance on the second day of the annual Ebor Festival. Jockey Ryan Moore was among those who had a chance to meet her, after she presented him with the winning trophy for the Yorkshire Oaks event.

The Queen unveiled a plaque to commemorate the Ebor meeting's big race the Juddmonte International. However she was out of luck with her horses on the track this week

But it was Queen Camilla who upped the style stakes at the ‘world’s best race’ on Thursday, taking a break from her holiday in Balmoral to attend Ladies Day at the Ebor Festival in York.
