Four homes and six other structures have been destroyed by a wildfire sweeping through central Oregon as thousands of homes in the state and in Northern California wine country remained under evacuation orders.

The largest wildfire in Oregon remains under a red flag warning through Aug. 26, meaning it's expected to continue growing in the foreseeable future.

Parts of California, Oregon and Washington state will experience extreme heat at least through Tuesday, forecasters said.
