Forecasters say Tropical Storm Juliette has formed in the Pacific Ocean hundreds of miles from Mexico’s Baja California peninsula as Tropical Storm Fernand churns in the Atlantic Ocean.

Fernand is the sixth named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season. On the forecast track, Fernand should move across the open waters of the subtropical central Atlantic well east and northeast of Bermuda.

According to the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. Monday advisory, Tropical Storm Fernand is in the Atlantic Ocean, 360 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 50 mph, it is moving north-northeast at 12 mph.
