Detroit Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris has selected 11 players in two drafts that are already in the top 30 on the team's farm.
The Tigers look to make a hard push heading into the Midsummer Classic, as they hope to stay at the top of the Major League Baseball standings before Monday. They are riding high thanks to a stretch of good play, having swept the Cleveland Guardians, on the road, last weekend, before taking two of three from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier in the week.
Rounds 1-3 of the draft will begin at 5 p.m. CT on Sunday, and coverage will be provided by ESPN, the MLB Network and MLB.com. Rounds 4-20 will be held starting at 10:30 a.m. CT Monday, and they may be viewed on MLB.
