Jonah Coleman, JK Dobbins, RJ Harvey injury updates, latest rumors on Broncos RBs for Week 3
The Denver Broncos are dealing with quite a few injuries at the running back position heading into a Week 3 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams.
Two Broncos running backs were limited on Wednesday and a third was held out of practice.
The Denver Broncos' backfield has been absolutely ravaged by injuries over two weeks. With RJ Harvey inactive for Week 2 due to a hamstring injury and JK Dobbins exiting the game with a hamstring injury of his own, impressive rookie Jonah Coleman stepped in and looked good. This led to him being the top waiver wire target of the week this week.
At the end of the third quarter of this past Sunday’s 20-13 comeback win over Jacksonville, Dobbins trudged to the locker room with a hamstring injury. He never returned. So much for that drink.
Coleman, who scored his first career TD in the fourth quarter Sunday, said spring boxing workouts in Arizona helped "train the mind."
The Broncos can't have nice things, apparently.
Coleman is tending to a sprained ankle, which he sustained in Sunday's 20-13 win over Jacksonville, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
