Two down, one to go. The Oklahoma City Thunder checked off another item on their busy offseason. They signed Chet Holmgren to a five-year, $250 million extension. There are some wrinkles in the deal, but the 23-year-old is under contract with the NBA champion through the 2030-31 season.

Luckily, that day is not today — but this summer marks the start of the extensions that will cost Oklahoma City quite a bit of money.From the time the Thunder started to ascend, it was clear that Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren were likely going to be max players.

Chet Holmgren doesn't give up many good looks at the basket. The 7-foot-1 forward specializes in swatting shots on the NBA champion OKC Thunder. But Holmgren made an exception Monday when he held his annual youth basketball camp at Oklahoma Athletic Center.
