The California governor concluded a two-day swing through the early primary state ahead of a likely presidential campaign in 2028.

Jim Clyburn (D-SC) appeared to reveal Gov. Gavin Newsom's (D-CA) ambitions for the White House while introducing him during a South Carolina visit. Newsom departed California on Monday for a two-day tour of South Carolina.
