WASHINGTON – A slight majority of voters – 51% – oppose the Trump administration taking over the DC, police force and deploying the National Guard in the nation’s capital, according to new data released Aug. 20 from a progressive polling firm.

Fear in the streets. Buildings burning. Law enforcement struggling to tamp down violence and bring chaos under control.

Involved: Three U.S. Aegis guided-missile destroyers—USS Gravely, USS Jason Dunham and the USS Sampson. Around 4,000 troops as well as “several P-8 spy planes, and at least one attack submarine” have also been tasked to assist.
