Derrick Lewis capped off UFC's Fight Night from Nashville on July 12 with a highlight-reel first-round knockout of Tallison Teixeira.

He'll face unbeaten Brazilian slugger Tallison Teixeira, 25, who earned a UFC slot with a win on Dana White's Contender Series and stopped Justin Tafa in just 35 seconds in his official company debut on a pay-per-view undercard five months ago.

The lightweight bout was the second preliminary fight at UFC on ESPN 70 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. Davis (12-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), who went back to the drawing board after his last fight, showed improvements across the board leading up to a TKO finish of Ramirez (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at 4:08 of Round 2.

In a 3-round featherweight bout on the main card, Calvin Kattar and Steve Garcia meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 70 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
