The Justice Department filed a motion on Friday to dissolve a restraining order preventing the Trump administration from blocking Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood clinics as mandated by the GOP megabill signed into law last week.

A federal judge temporarily blocked the government from enforcing a provision of President Donald Trump’s megabill that would have prevented Medicaid from reimbursing Planned Parenthood—a move the reproductive health group said would amount to “defunding.”

The federal government cannot withhold Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood for at least the next two weeks, after a district court judge issued a temporary restraining order the same day
