An MLB executive predicts the Los Angeles Dodgers will land a Philadelphia Phillies ace in a potential blockbuster trade to strengthen their rotation.

Suarez broke out as a bona fide ace with the Phillies in an All-Star season last year that saw him post a 3.46 ERA with 145 total strikeouts. Though he has struggled with injuries throughout his career and missed the beginning of this season, he has a 1.99 ERA in 12 starts so far.

"The Phillies have a specific interest in the American League Central; they began scouting the Minnesota Twins more heavily this week in anticipation of them being sellers, league sources said," Gelb wrote. "Griffin Jax and Jhoan Durán will be prized targets if Minnesota makes them available. They’re expected to listen."
