According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Red Sox are monitoring the market to see if Joe Ryan could be acquired in a trade.

The Boston Red Sox are red-hot as of late. They have won five consecutive games and come to within 6 1/2 games in the American League East. They also are just one game out of the final Wild Card spot, so even after the Rafael Devers trade, which shocked the Major League Baseball world, they remain a threat.

Boston’s three All-Star selections match last year’s total when Rafael Devers, Jarren Duran and Tanner Houck all made it. The last time a first-year Red Sox player was named an All-Star was just two years ago when Kenley Jansen represented the American League after signing a two-year free-agent deal the winter prior.
