Mitch Voit is the Michigan baseball program’s highest MLB draft pick since 2000. The second baseman was selected in the first round at No. 38 overall by the New York Mets on Sunday night, becoming the first Wolverines player selected in the first round since David Parish 25 years ago.

RJ Austin of Vanderbilt baseball was selected in the third round of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles on July 13. Austin was seen as a potential draft prospect out of high school in 2022, but he withdrew from selection to come to Vanderbilt.
