Portland Trail Blazers rookie Yang Hansen has often expressed his admiration for Nikola Jokic. As the 2025–2026 regular season approaches, Hansen will be preparing for a matchup against his idol.

The Blazers have to find a way to trade at least one of these two veterans especially when considering their contract situations.

Caleb Love was an All-Big 12 first-team selection as a fifth-year senior, averaging 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals.

Koby Brea and Amari Williams, both second-round picks in last month’s draft, made their Summer League debuts Friday, as did undrafted rookie Andrew Carr. Ex-Cat Jaxson Robinson played his opener Thursday. Lamont Butler has yet to take the floor in Vegas.
