One of the most electric home-run hitters in the MLB is Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. However, fans will have to temper their expectations as to him participating in this year's MLB Home Run Derby in Atlanta in July.
First, Ohtani, coming off an 0-for-10 streak, made sure to clean some rogue dirt off the plate after a pitch in the dirt made a mess of home plate. Shohei Ohtani has looked good on the mound since his return to two-way duties last month. The hitting still remains at an MVP level, but some underlying stats show a decline.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' recent hot streak ended in spectacular fashion on Friday night with an 18-1 loss to the Houston Astros.
