The Giants got an early start towards the 53-man roster in the aftermath of their preseason finale, making eight moves. They made two more transactions Sunday in advance of cut down day, meaning the roster is at 80 (kicker Jude McAtamney is 81, but he will be exempt and a member of the practice squad because of the International Pathway Program).

The Giants completed their roster cuts Tuesday, trimming from 90 players to the NFL-mandated 53, and can now begin rebuilding their practice squad with some of the players they released.
