Microsoft’s new Copilot Cowork integrates Anthropic’s Claude in rollout of new E7 licensing tier
Microsoft is launching Copilot Cowork, a new AI assistant built with Anthropic that can run tasks in the background and work across Microsoft 365 apps, as part of a broader wave of updates including a new $99-per-user E7 licensing tier.
Microsoft 365 E7 comes with Copilot, as well as identity, management and security features that might make more businesses adopt AI.
Joining the likes of Claude and ChatGPT, Copilot Health seeks to decipher medical data from your Apple Watch, your doctor, and other sources.
As Microsoft continues to invest heavily into AI, the company is planning to bring Copilot to Xbox consoles later this year. The service uses artificial intelligence to give players help in games and recommend them new titles.
Microsoft thinks enterprise customers will prefer its cloud-native Copilot Cowork to Anthropic’s local version and doubles down on per user pricing.
