Best known for its pistols and rifles, SIG Sauer has expanded into suppressors, ammunition and, as covered here, an entire optics line all its own.

SIG offers two versions of the Romeo1, one configured for attachment to M1913 Picatinny rail and one for use with optics-ready handguns; our test optic is an example of the latter.

The ROMEOZero is said to use a “SpectraCoat HD” lens in a TFB article, and a cursory search of Sig Sauer’s optic catalog suggests that SpectraCoat and HD apply to varieties of glass.
