The ICE agent who shot and killed a woman in Minnesota this week is a 2001 Peoria Richwoods graduate, WCBU has learned through an examination of school and court records.
According to the report, the woman, who has not been identified, was taking her baby for a walk when she was approached by a stranger later identified as 43-year-old Matthew Cardon. The report stated that Cardon approached her with his arms open and asked for a hug.
A Peoria man was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend, according to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s office.
The federal agent who fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis has connections to the Peoria area. Jonathan Ross, 43, the agent identified as the man who shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, is a 2001 graduate of Richwoods High School, according to Journal Star archives.
