Ford’s return to the Formula 1 grid this year with Red Bull Racing puts the car giant “back where it belongs”, according to its racing division chief, Will Ford, the great-great grandson of company founder Henry.

The 2026 Formula season begins with new regulations for the vehicles to make racing more exciting. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will put the team's new car through its paces at upcoming test sessions,

12 minutes into the 24-minute video, Max Verstappen hops behind the wheel of something called a "2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC." This, of course, is not a model that exists in Ford's lineup, or anywhere else. Or, perhaps, it does not exist yet.

The Red Bull F1 team is getting a makeover for the 2026 season. During an event at Michigan Central Station in Detroit, Red Bull Racing dropped a video and images showing off the newly-designed livery its cars will use this year.
