WPRI 12 Weather Alert 2/21/26: Few Snow Showers Today; Winter Storm Arrives Sunday Night and Monday

A major winter storm will bring heavy snow and blizzard conditions to the Lehigh Valley and northeastern Pennsylvania Sunday through Monday. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the area, with the heaviest snowfall expected Sunday evening through Sunday night.

The National Weather Service has expanded its Winter Storm Watch to include the Washington, D.C., metro area as a coastal storm is expected to bring snow to the Mid-Atlantic Sunday night into Monday.

A messy mix will turn to snow across Massachusetts Friday afternoon and evening as another storm continues to move up the coast for the late weekend.
