MONTREAL - The NHL All-Star game was settled in the newest of ways in hockey's oldest city.

Bryan Bickell scored in a shootout on the final shot of his NHL career on Sunday, capping a whirlwind week in which he announced his retirement after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Jason Spezza and Jamie Benn scored in a shootout, and the Dallas Stars beat New Jersey 3-2 on Friday night, extending the Devils’ NHL record for shootout losses to 18 straight.
