Detroit fire official confirmed a two-alarm fire lit up the The Grind Gentleman's Club at 1416 Griswold.

Rise 'n' Grind, a new late-night coffee shop by Playhouse Nightclub owner Robert Vinokur, is scheduled to open at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue on July 22.

The bump-and-grind dance moves are in full effect by 11pm. Thursday through Saturday the dance floor is packed with sweaty bodies until 2am — definitely not a club concerned with personal space.
