Passengers on board the Cunard luxury cruise liner, Queen Anne, were warned to stay vigilant while the 113,000-ton vessel passed through waters known for piracy.

Two Disney Cruise Line passengers were rescued from the water over the weekend. Overboard detection systems are designed for those very instances.

The child and dad were rescued, but between 2009 and 2019, there were 212 incidents of crew or passengers going overboard on cruise ships; 48 were rescued.
