BELTON — A proposed zoning change that would have brought a new RV and cabin park to Belton failed after a 4-3 vote against it during a Belton City Council meeting on Tuesday.

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) - The Belton standpipe received renovations in preparation for the new park planned to be constructed around it by the end of 2024.

Texas Parks and Wildlife awarded the City of Belton a $750,000 grant to fund a city park surrounding the historic standpipe water tower landmark.
