The tidy purple and green dinosaur is back with CGI-animated friends in "Barney's World," premiering on Max in October.

After Baby Bop loses her pink balloon, her friends give her a whistle to signal for them to play together. When she becomes too bossy, Barney teaches her the importance of being a good friend.

Barney and his friends debuted in 1992 on PBS in a TV show called “Barney & Friends” that featured songs, dancing and games. Barney, Baby Bop, BJ and Riff starred along with a cast of children.

Riff was the newest addition to Barney and Friends, as he debuted in season 10. Baby Bop and BJ were introduced much earlier on.
