The Green Bay Packers unveiled a piece of franchise history on Saturday by confirming that star linebacker Micah Parsons will wear the No. 1 jersey for the upcoming season. It marks the first time in 99 years that a Packer has worn the number, making Parsons’ debut in green and gold even more significant.

Parsons himself admitted the trade was bittersweet, saying he wished he didn’t have to leave Dallas to secure his deal.
