The Brooklyn, New York native never played for the Capitals, and instead joined the Celtics, and played for them during the 1947–48 BAA season for 43 games.

During his time suiting up for the Celtics, Sadowski wore only jersey No. 22 and put up 19.4 points and 1.6 assists per game.

The Waldick, New Jersey native would play the sole season of his BAA career with Boston, retiring from the league afterward.
