Justin Verlander is set to make the final start of his Hall of Fame-worthy career on Sept. 26 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Justin Verlander walked into the Tigers’ bullpen beyond the left-field fence at Comerica Park, took the mound and got in his between-starts session Tuesday afternoon, same as he has done hundreds of times over the past 21 years.
