A Gallup poll shows a substantial jump in the share of Americans who view immigration as positive for the U.S. since President Donald Trump took office.

In a marked reversal from a year ago, more Americans now have positive views about immigration, and a record high believes it is good for the nation.

Strong support for President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda appears to have peaked, with more voters than not now giving him a thumbs down amid talk of amnesty for farm workers and concerns about Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz.
