President Donald Trump attacked the Smithsonian in a Truth Social post again over its depictions of slavery, receiving heavy pushback online.

"The Museums throughout Washington, but all over the Country are, essentially, the last remaining segment of "WOKE," he wrote.

There are heightened concerns for D.C.'s Smithsonian museums after President Trump issued a Truth Social post criticizing the institution and what he called “woke” culture.

Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to criticize the Smithsonian museums for focusing too much on slavery and “the downtrodden.” He has ordered a review of materials at eight of the museums, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
