Dancers and musicians in brightly coloured costumes mark the final day of London's annual celebration of Caribbean culture.

Revellers, dancers and musicians filled the streets of west London on Monday for the annual Notting Hill carnival, one of the world's largest street parties that, despite its cultural prominence, has struggled with funding challenges.

This year’s Notting Hill Carnival has been the most peaceful in years, with far fewer incidents of serious violence, the Metropolitan Police said. So far, there have been 423 arrests over the two main days, including 46 for possession of an offensive weapon.
