Food inspectors have designated the highest-risk warning to a recall of thousands of pounds of cheese products. On Monday, the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA) assigned the Class I designation, the highest of three levels, to Middlefield Original Cheese Cooperative's recall over "potential contamination with listeria monocytogenes."
