The Los Angeles Dodgers have been without superstar slugger Shohei Ohtani for the last week+ as he’s been dealing with a biceps issue that led to his IL placement. Manager Dave Roberts indicated on Tuesday,

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be getting Shohei Ohtani back before the postseason.

Dave Roberts said of his son, Cole: "I just want him to figure it out on his own and find out what type of coach he wants to be."

Ohtani was added to IL on September 11, backdated to September 8, with lingering knee and biceps injuries.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will get Roki Sasaki back in their starting rotation next week, manager Dave Roberts confirmed. Roberts said Sasaki will return as a starting pitcher when he is activated from the injured list, ending any uncertainty about whether the Dodgers would use him in a shorter bullpen role down the stretch.
