FRISCO — The deadline has passed and the initial 53-man roster has been set for the Dallas Cowboys. Let’s take a look at the roster. Of note: The waiver wire process for players is in place until noon on Wednesday. Once 3 p.m. arrives, teams will be able to add additional players to injured reserve with the designation to return.

These four players proved themselves worthy of making the 53-man roster, but were released by the Dallas Cowboys anyway.
