On Tuesday at 5:19 p.m. the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 5:45 p.m. for Bucks County.
The NWS reports the Bucks County tornado started in Wrightstown Township and ended in Newtown – going about four miles. Peak winds are estimated to have reached 105 mph, according to the NWS.
Bucks County and Montgomery County were under a severe thunderstorm warning for much of the evening, but all tornado watches and warnings had expired for the region as of 7 p.m.
